With reference to your telegram 16th November practically all the assets in all the liquidation have been sold and cleared. The

only outstanding questions are those of leasehold and shares held by secured creditors via Hong Kong and Shanghai Banking Corporation and Chartered Bank

of India Australia and China. In some liquidation there are large contingent claims which will be probably impossible to settle definitely before the end of war. Despatch will go shortly reporting on the liquidation.
